The COM-3800 is a highly accurate air ion counter which can measure both negative and positive ions simultaneously.
The state of the art ion detector made with two cylindrical capacitor electrodes is precisely designed,
manufactured and adjusted to provide highly accurate ion measurement and
it conforms to the JIS standard (Japanese Industrial Standard).
It is good for new product development and observation of ion data in the air.
It can measure up to 5,000,000 (pcs/cc) ions, which is far greater than other ion counters.
You can also measure negative or positive ions only.
The specially designed software, which comes with the counter, enables you to remotely control it.

Features
Measures both negative and positive ions simultaneously with high accuracy
While there are many ion counters which measure either negative or positive ions,
there are very few products that can measure both negative and positive ions simultaneously with high accuracy.
The COM-3800 works in 3 measurement modes.
1. Positive/Negative ions simultaneously

Highly accurate ion measurement made possible by the dual detectors
Detectors with high accuracy are required for simultaneous positive and negative ion measurement
as they handle the faint electricity.
Each detector has to work under the exact same condition.
The state of the art detector, which employs the Gerdien capacitor, is precisely designed,
manufactured and adjusted with years of experience in order to provide highly accurate
simultaneous positive and negative ion measurement.
Conforms to the JIS standard
It conforms to the "JISB9929 Standard for measurement method of airbone ion density" which rigorously defines the methodology to measure ion density.
Built-in memory
Measured ion data and temperature/humidity/date information can be saved in the built-in memory.
It is great for outdoor use as you do not need to take your PC with you.
The ion data collection interval can be set to 1/2/3/4/5/10/15/20/30/60 minutes, and up to 900 data records
can be saved in the memory.
The saved data can be:
