Detailed review: I purchased this product for my husband. He was searching for a product to prevent passive smoking in the office. Actually, his desk is located near the smoking area. He has not found an effect but he will use it for a while as it may work.

"It slightly reduces cigarette smoke odors. It does not remove completely but I feel better than without it."

I am happy because: One of my colleagues is a heavy smoker. I get a sore throat when he comes close to me because of the nicotine odor. I hate cigarette odors as I do not like the smoke and smell. I was searching for a remedy for the sore throat.

I also had pain in the lungs. I found this product and similar devices offered by other companies. I purchased from you because it looked stylish and I liked the color. It slightly reduces cigarette smoke odors. It works except when someone smokes close to me. I feel better than without it. It is lighter than I thought, so it is comfortable to wear it around the neck. It is great as I can clip it to the chest pocket when I can not wear it around the neck.

Reason(s) why I purchased from you: I can clip it to the pocket of my shirt.

I am happy because: I am a caregiver and visit care receivers on a daily basis. Cigarette smoke makes my clothes smell when I visit someone who smokes. I purchased this product to remove the smell. I feel that the smell of cigarette smoke is slightly reduced. According to the instruction manual, I need to wear the strap around the neck even when I clip it to the pocket of my shirt, otherwise it does not work well. How much does it affect the performance? It will be convenient if I do not need to wear it around the neck because they often ask me what I am wearing.

"I no longer need to take medicine or wear a mask as symptoms of hayfever improved. "

I see a lot of people on a daily basis as I am a chief priest of a Buddhist temple. I am often exposed to sidestream smoke, viruses spread by coughing and sneezing, house dust, electromagnetic waves and so on. I and my wife are so uncomfortable during the hayfever season. Her symptoms are worse.

I read a book regarding negative ions, googled and purchased 2 units of the Medical Ion Mini and 2 units of the AirTamer in 2011. We have been using them since then. I no longer need to take medicine or wear a mask as symptoms of hayfever dramatically improved. I am not sure if it is also good for sidestream smoke, viruses, house dust and electromagnetic waves but I feel at ease when I am wearing it.

I purchased additional 2 units of the AirTamer as 4 years had passed since my last purchase. I am going to purchase another unit for my daughter's birthday gift. People who come to the temple often ask me "What is it?" and then I explain what this device is and how it works. The appearance of this product has changed. The white one is great. It is easier to adjust the length of the strap.

Reason(s) why I purchased from you: I read users reviews and thought this was what I needed.

I am happy because: About 90% of my colleagues are smokers. They smoke in the designated area but sidestream smoke continues to come into the office from there. I started to get an allergy to cigarettes as I worked in such an environment. I cough as soon as I detect sidestream smoke.

I always wear this device around the neck when I am working in the office. Sidestream smoke no longer annoys me even if someone next to me smokes. I position it close to the mouth in order to breathe the fresh air when 2 or more people smoke around me. It helps me. I always carry it around when I go out. I fold the strap so that it makes contact with the palm when I am in a train.

Other comments: I am wondering if you carry a larger mobile generator which emits more negative ions or a desk top model?? I am so happy with this device as it works in my environment. I hope you will develop new products which will work better for hayfever and cigarette smoke.

"I do not feel the smell and smoke of cigarettes are reduced."

I purchased this product as I do not like the smell/smoke of cigarettes. I wear it but I do not feel the smell/smoke are reduced. I cannot find an effect at all.

I am happy because: I feel uneasy because I am not sure if it is really generating negative ions. I purchased it to remove cigarette smoke. I do not find a significant effect but I use it as I feel better.

"I use this product to prevent an allergic reaction to eyelash extension adhesive. The air is clear and the throat feels good."

Reason(s) why I purchased from you: Your website is easy to navigate and provides clear information about the product.

I am happy because: I am a manicurist. I sneeze a lot and my nose runs often as I have been overusing volatile solvents for many years. The symptoms are getting worse. I purchased this product as a friend of mine, who had had the same symptoms, advised me to wear an ion generator around the neck.

I wear it while working as the symptoms ease significantly and the work goes smoothly. The air is clear and the throat feels good. I cannot do without it. Thank you.

Other comments: I am an instructor for manicures and eyelash extension.Eyelash extension is expected to become more popular in the beauty industry. It will become a compulsory subject at beauty schools as the regulation changes next year, so many beauty salons will start to offer the service. The number of practitioners who get allergy symptoms will increase.

Many of them get allergy symptoms caused by glue which is used to attach eyelash extensions because cheap glue (imported from overseas) contains a small amount of formaldehyde. Some practitioners quit their jobs because of severe symptoms which are similar to sick building syndrome.

I hope this ion generator will become popular in this industry so that they will be able to continue their jobs without suffering from allergy symptoms. Of course, I will recommend this product. Please continue to supply it.
