My mother used to have terrible knee pain, which even made me feel pain. She had suffered the pain for 15 years since I was in my 20's. It spread to other areas and she started to feel pain in her shoulder/back/ankles. She had to apply poultices to the whole of her body every day, so it was easy for me to locate her because of the odor.
