It has been reported that negative ion therapy has significant effects on rheumatism.

A serious rheumatism patient tried 6-10 minute negative ion therapy several times. The pain completely disappeared and the symptoms got better and better after the 4th trial. This therapy is also said to be good for sciatic neuralgia and neuritis. (Steffens)

A patient may feel fatigue, get a slight fever or experience joint pain in the beginning of the therapy but these symptoms usually go away in a short period of time.
