I have allergic rhinitis. I had to keep my mouth open to breathe while sleeping because of nasal congestion. I always placed a handkerchief on the mouth in order to prevent it from getting dry because wearing a mask was not comfortable as it rubbed and irritated the skin. I searched for a larger version of the AirTamer, found the Medical Ion Mini and decided to try it. FYI: I have been using the AirTamer for hayfever. I am happy because: I no longer need to place a handkerchief on my mouth while sleeping as the nasal passage is clearer. I have been using this product for about a month. My friends say my skin is clearer. It has been running 24/7 as I feel refreshed. I purchased the 2nd unit for my mother who is now in hospital. It has been working beside her pillow. It helps to reduce mucus build-up. Her skin is also clearer. I am not happy because: The negative ion generator itself is fine but the tripod included in the package does not work well at home. I cannot install it as I want. I purchased this camera mount. It firmly holds the device. HCS-23 Ball head camera mount [From Ion Trading] Thank you for your feedback.
