"I purchased it for hayfever. I do not need to wear a mask or protective glasses!"

The hayfever season has come. The cedar pollen density rises as strong winds blow. Many of my bosses and colleagues wear protective glasses and/or a mask in our office as they have hayfever. The pollen density is extremely high this year as it was expected. They have eye pain as well as running noses.

I have been wearing the AirTamer since I purchased it. I do not need to wear a mask or protective glasses.

My current preventive measures against hayfever are:

Nasaline nasal rinsing every morning/evening
Eye/Nose drops every 5-6 hours
Wearing the AirTamer 24-7

So far, I have been fine. My nasal passage is clear and eyes feel no foreign body sensation. I believe I will only need the AirTamer, glasses and a mask even if the pollen density rises. Thank you for this great product.

"It is so lightweight and compact that I feel as if I were not wearing it. Very easy to carry around!"

I am happy because: It is very easy to carry around because it is more lightweight and compact than I expected. I feel as if I were not wearing it. I am happy because it runs on a battery.

I am not happy because: I purchased this product for hayfever. I was looking forward to a beneficial effect but I do not think it is working at this moment. Wearing a mask and the AirTamer and taking medication seem to help to alleviate symptoms.

Other comments: It would be great if I could easily adjust the length of the strap.

"I no longer have nasal congestion caused by hayfever and enjoy a good sleep!"

Hello! I had terrible hayfever. I could not sleep well at night because of nasal congestion. I found this product on a website featuring preventative measures against hayfever. The site was linked from Yahoo Japan.

I am happy because: This device is compact and the battery lasts fairly long. Actually, I turn on this negative ion generator before I go to bed and then turn off when I wake up in the morning. The design is not bad. I also use an air purifier during the day hours.

I am happy because I can have a good sleep. If the symptoms do not appear until the end of the hayfever season, I will purchase this product again next year even if it gets broken by then. I am also looking forward to new products.

I am not happy because: It would be better if the blow off point were inside the body. I am afraid that something may accidentally hit it and it can get broken while I carry around the device.

"I wear this device around the neck when my nose tickles or I sneeze and then the symptoms immediately go away!"

I am happy because: I purchased the AirTamer to prevent hayfever as the pollen count was expected to reach 10 times higher than usual. It is very lightweight. It is user friendly because it is easy to turn it on/off. I put this device into my bag or pocket in order to use it whenever needed. I wear this device around the neck when my nose tickles or I sneeze and then the symptoms immediately go away.

I am not happy because: The small plastic joint attached to the strap does not work. I think it is designed to connect the both ends of the strap, so I do not use it and I tie the strap instead.

"I have not found a significant effect because the pollen count is not high. (It may be working?) "

I choose the AirTamer after comparing with several products manufactured by other companies because this mobile negative ion generator emits more negative ions than others. It does not look stylish but you can conveniently clip it to a pocket or somewhere. I attached a pin to my necktie to clip the device to it.

I have not found a significant effect yet because the pollen count is not high. It may be possible that symptoms of hayfever are suppressed by the AirTamer.Anyway, I will see how it will work after the pollen count rises.

"I do not need to wear a mask when a lot of pollen spreads. I am so impressed!"

I am happy because: I always got hayfever every year when cedar tree pollen started to spread and felt depressed because of the symptoms such as nasal mucus, nasal congestion and sneezing.

I found the AirTamer when I was searching for a mobile air purifier. I decided to purchase it because I was sure it would work. These symptoms have not appeared since I started to use it a week ago even though the pollen count is high. I always wore a mask but now I do not need to. I am so impressed with the performance! The pollen count is 10 times higher than that of last year but I am sure this device will protect me.

I am not happy because: As many users say, it would be more convenient if I could adjust the length of the strap. I have attached a part to adjust the length. You can include such a part in the package.

I am happy because: I used to suffer from symptoms of hayfever such as sneezing, mucus and itchy eyes every year. I wore a mask and used a decongestant. I am not happy to use a decongestant because it can cause drowsiness as a side effect. Wearing a mask works only so-so. This is why I was depressed during the hayfever season every year.

I found the AirTamer this year. I was skeptical but purchased it to try it out. The other day, I was impressed with the performance when a large amount of pollen spread. Only a very little amount of mucus was released, which was much less than before. I did not get itchy eyes at all.

A large amount of pollen is surely in the air because people around me suffer from terrible hayfever. What a great product! I may not need to wear a mask or use a decongestant this year. I made the right decision. I recommend this product to my colleagues.

I am not happy because: As others say, the strap frays. It would be nice if I could adjust the length. If I cut it to make it shorter, I am afraid it will not pass through the head smoothly on the way to the neck. If I do not cut it, the distance between the device and my nose is too long when worn around the neck.

This may not be applicable to every user but a lot of static electricity is generated in our office. My neck gets an electric shock when I wear it around the neck. I am wondering if this is because the strap is conductive?? So, I put it into my shirt pocket while working. It would be great if you could change the material of the strap to prevent an electric shock.

It works like a ground wire and helps the battery driven device to generate negative ions more efficiently. Normally, you do not feel an electric shock. I suggest you should not let the strap touch the skin directly when you are in the office. The negative ion generation efficiency slightly drops but you can enjoy a certain amount of negative ions and feel more comfortable.

"Terrible hayfever often prevented my husband from going out. He has no problem going out as he wears it around the neck!"

I purchased this product for my husband who was suffering from hayfever. Terrible hayfever often prevented him from going out every year when the pollen count was high. He has no problem going out this year as he wears it around the neck. I asked him "How is it working?". He said "I cannot describe how it is." However, I believe he is happy with this product because he always wears it around the neck.

I am happy because: It requires courage to place the 1st order. I even wondered if the testimonials were really true or not?? However, I was worried too much! I finally decided to place the order and received an email from the person in charge.

I was wearing the AirTamer every day after I received it. One day, I mistakenly lost the battery and the cover. I thought it would be impossible to order these imported parts only but I contacted you anyway and then you immediately sent me these parts free of charge. Thank you very much. What a great customer service!

You can find some mobile negative ion generators if you google. I compared with others based on: 1. How many negative ions are generated. 2. How long the battery lasts. Then I found the AirTamer was the best option. There are some products which run on expensive lithium batteries and the batteries last only about 2 days. The battery of this product lasts much longer, which is a great advantage.

I had suffered from hayfever for nearly 40 years. The symptoms have not appeared yet as of 26 Feb 2011. I am not sure if this is because the AirTamer is working but I will continue to wear it as the hayfever season is coming up. Thank you for this nice product and your customer service.

I am not happy because: My lips feel a waft of air when close to the AirTamer. I am wondering if negative ions are blown out?? I did not think this product would generate a slight breeze.

The indicator is not bright enough and I do not feel the "breeze" when I am outside. I have even thought that it had got broken. It would be great if it could show it is working more clearly. It would be great if the LED could turn on only when being pushed instead of blinking continuously. You can also design a new battery cover because it often comes off. I have fixed it with tape so that it does not come off.

"I no longer sneeze continuously! It works quickly and effectively. The hayfever season is about to set in. "

I saw a negative ion generator which can be worn around the neck on TV and heard that it could work for hayfever. I googled and found your website. I am not sure if it really works at this moment because pollen has not started to spread much.

However, the other day when I was sneezing continuously, I turned it on, positioned the blow off point close to the nose, breathed deeply and then the sneezing stopped immediately. I have been wearing this device every day because I hope both my eyes/nose will find beneficial effects after the pollen count rises.
